How we handle your data
Last updated: 4 October 2026
- rescendo.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics or trackers.
- If you book a demo or write to us, we use your details only to arrange, prepare and follow up on that conversation.
- We never sell your data or share it for anyone else's marketing.
- You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, or to delete it: hello@rescendo.com.
Who we are
Rescendo LTD (Ресендо ЕООД), a company registered in Bulgaria. EIK 208940069, VAT no. BG208940069. Registered office: Varna, Bulgaria. Contact: hello@rescendo.com.
We are the controller for the personal data described in this notice.
What we collect, why, and for how long
When you book a demo
- Data
- Name, email address, company, the answers you give in the booking form (for example which ATS or CRM you use and roughly how large your candidate database is), any message you add, and the time you pick.
- Why
- To schedule the call, send you the video link, prepare a relevant demo and follow up afterwards.
- Legal basis
- Steps taken at your request before a possible contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Kept for
- 12 months after our last contact, unless we start working together.
When you email us
- Data
- Your contact details and whatever you write to us.
- Why
- To reply and continue the conversation you started.
- Legal basis
- Our legitimate interest in answering messages (Art. 6(1)(f)), or steps before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Kept for
- 12 months after our last contact, unless we start working together.
When we contact your business
- Data
- Name, role, company and business contact details, including your public professional profile (for example on LinkedIn).
- Source
- Public sources: company websites, the Bulgarian Commercial Register and LinkedIn.
- Why
- To offer our services to businesses that are likely to benefit from them.
- Legal basis
- Our legitimate interest in business-to-business outreach (Art. 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time and we will stop contacting you.
- Kept for
- Until you object, or 12 months after our last contact, whichever comes first. If you object, we keep only a minimal note so we don't contact you again.
When you visit rescendo.com
- Data
- Technical data your browser sends with every request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested.
- Why
- Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, needs it to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We don't use it to identify or profile you.
- Legal basis
- Our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Kept for
- Only in Cloudflare's short-lived operational logs.
If we work together
- Data
- Contract, contact and invoicing details.
- Why
- To deliver the service and meet our accounting and tax obligations.
- Legal basis
- Performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
- Kept for
- For the contract's duration, and accounting records for as long as Bulgarian accounting and tax law requires.
Cookies
rescendo.com itself sets no cookies and uses no analytics. Our fonts are hosted on our own site, so loading a page doesn't contact any third party.
The booking calendar on /book is loaded from Cal.com and runs in Cal.com's own frame. Cal.com may use cookies or similar storage there to make the booking work; that is covered by Cal.com's privacy policy.
Who processes data for us
We use a small number of service providers, each bound by a data processing agreement:
- Cloudflare: website hosting and security.
- Cal.com (EU instance, cal.eu): demo booking and the video calls (Cal Video).
- Zoho (EU data centre): our email and calendar.
When we message you on LinkedIn, LinkedIn processes those messages as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.
Where we can, we use providers' EU data centres. Some providers are based outside the EEA, Cloudflare for example. Any transfer of personal data outside the EEA relies on an adequacy decision such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Candidate data we process for agencies
If your agency uses Rescendo, we process its candidate data on the agency's behalf, as a processor under a separate data processing agreement. The agency is the controller for that data, and this notice doesn't cover it. Candidates should contact the agency that holds their data.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct it, or delete it;
- restrict how we use it, or transfer it to you or another provider;
- stop using it for outreach: you can object at any time, without giving a reason.
Write to hello@rescendo.com. We answer within one month.
You can also complain to the Bulgarian data protection authority, the Commission for Personal Data Protection (Комисия за защита на личните данни, www.cpdp.bg), or to the authority in the EU country where you live or work.
We don't make decisions about you by automated means alone, and we don't sell personal data.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal data, we'll update this notice and the date at the top.
